Starbucks Special

This is a day of New York moments.  At Starbucks this afternoon, the man in front of me ordered a tall coffee for $1.50.  He asked for 2 extra cups which the Barrista politely gave him and then he reached over and took 2 more from the stack (which then annoyed the Barrista).  He took his tall coffee and 4 empty cups and went over to the milk stand.  He filled up all 4 cups to the rim with milk, emptied out the sugar and splenda containers into his bag and then he happily walked out with a tray of milks and his coffee.  It actually made me chuckle again as it reminded me of my last meal with Grandma Millie (95 years old in Florida last month).  We went to a diner for breakfast and both ordered bagels with the works.  The cream cheese came in little plastic containers and there were extras on the table.  She quietly took the extras and gingerly placed them in her bag while the waitress walked away.  She then whisked a couple sugar packets into that pocketbook.  Hmmmmm……
