Happy Birthday To Me

Happy Birthday to me, from Facebook. My day started with happy birthday messages from friends and colleagues from across the globe. The barrage of good wishes continued from high school friends in Miami…then camp chimney rock bunkmates…then college, long lost friends (and one who gave me a foot massage freshman year on 7 carmen, which we then IM’d about…ah memories…) and then finally ended when a group of current colleagues (all under the age of 30) sang happy birthday with a box of pastel colored cupcakes from Chelsea Market. (Note to self — good move removing your date of birth from my Facebook profile as I tried to pull off being 32….). I love the Internet. Birthday present to me — apple time capsule, imac and a new 500G external drive the size of a credit card (well a little bigger) — yes, I also love technology…and cupcakes…thank you everyone for your wonderful wishes and my trip down memory lane.
