Extravaganzas
Two big events in the past 48 hours — 1. LG photography is now rebranded as Blue Sky Photography and 2. I went to a wedding extravaganza over the weekend. The first big event doesn’t merit much discussion — just thought that Blue Sky Photography sounded more descriptive, colorful and fluid, much like the photos; but the second event raised a couple of observations…the wedding was over the top, which I loved, 18 piece band and all, with the added bonus of having Teddy as the ring bearer and Carolyn as the flower girl. What could be better? Every detail, every meticulous minute was planned and orchestrated like a Broadway production. For me (or as Randy, my dawg, says, “for me for you”), I loved and appreciated all of it, down to the black slippers in the bathroom for the women’s aching feet. H o w e v e r, the interesting observation for me (for you, go dawg), is that, despite being bathed in extravagence by our lovely hosts, I did overhear a few guests in the ladies room critique some of the decorative decisions. Perhaps each one of these details that I SO enjoyed wasn’t appreciated and/or enjoyed by all…the point is, when invited as a guest to an event, take the opportunity to enjoy the moment, no, get into the moment or groove, as you prefer, and dance your booty off to that Journey track that you thought the last time you would hear was on the Sopranos season finale ! Hora baby, Hora!
